Caulfield Race Track Description
Caulfield Race Track has a triangular shaped layout. It has three straights of 30 metres wide.
Caulfield Race Track has a total circumference of 2,080 metres and a finishing straight of 367 metres. All its turns have a 4% to 6 % banking. Racing at Caulfield Race Track takes place in an anti-clockwise direction.
Caulfield Race Track possesses sweeping long corners and there is a rise along the back of the track leading to the 1,400m start. Caulfield Race Track's sharp corners and the short straight make it difficult for horses to come from the back and win.
