Belscenica ready to strut her stuff at Kenny and Isabel Watkins Handicap!
Belscenica will be given a chance to show her full potential when she takes part in the Kenny and Isabel Watkins Handicap at Flemington Race Track on Saturday.
Belscenica will be taking a step up in distance as her trainer Tony Noonan tests her full capabilities.
Jockey Nicholas Hall will be astride Belscenica at the Kenny and Isabel Watkins Handicap. He hasn't ridden her since her first triumph.
Noonan is quite confident of his ward's chances and said that the lightly-raced four-year-old still has some improvement in her.
Belscenica is looking to continue her unbroken winning streak as she tries to get win # 4 at Flemington Race Track. She had her first win at Cranbourne Race Track followed by two triumphs at Sandown Race Track.
"I think she has got a bright future because she knows how to win. I think she is good quality." Noonan proudly said of his horse.
Belscenica has raced only five times and after unplaced runs at her first two starts Noonan switched her from a backmarker to an on-pace runner with great effect. |
