Samantha Miss to take part in Silver Shadow Stakes at Warwick Farm Saturday!

Samantha Miss will be running in the Group 3, Silver Shadow Stakes on Saturday at Warwick Farm Race Track. Her run in the Silver Shadow Stakes will serve as the start of a spring campaign aimed at enhancing her Group One record.

The Silver Shadow Stakes will be run at 1,200 metres and is open for three-year-old fillies.

Samantha Miss was last seen on the Race Track when she beat Sebring in the Champagne Stakes at Randwick Race Track on May 3 rd , 2008 .

The Silver Shadow Stakes is the first leg of the four-race Princess Series which also encompasses the Tea Rose Stakes, the Furious Stakes and the Group One Flight Stakes.

Angst was the only filly to win all four races in the Princess Series. She did that way back in 1993. "If she comes through the series as well as I would expect her to then she'll head to Melbourne," her trainer Kris Lees said. Jockey Hugh Bowman will be astride Samantha Miss on Saturday at Warwick Farm Race Track. Bowman rode who rode Samantha Miss to victory in the Champagne Stakes.
