Todd Pletcher has three of his best runners gunning for honors in the Grade III Chicago Handicap at Arlington Park race track.
Leah's Secret, Mini Sermon, and Featherbed will all see action in the seven furlong race on Saturday on Arlington Park race track's Polytrack.
Leah's Secret placed second in the Grade III Arlington Marton Handicap on May 26. She was likewise second-placer in the Grade II Louisville Stakes (gr. II) on May 2 at Churchill Downs race track. She took park in Gulfstream Park race track's Sunshine Millions Distaff Stakes earlier in the year but did not figure in the winner's circle.
Leah's Secret has earnings of $545,939 and has a record of 5-4-2 . She will be ridden by Rene Douglas in the Chicago Handicap.
Meanwhile, Mini Sermon is fresh from a third-place finish in the Fit for a Queen Stakes May 25 at Arlington Park race track. She was third in the Grade III Sabin Handicap on Jan. 6 at Gulfstream Park race track and was unplaced in the Grade II Vinery Madison Stakes April 9 at Keeneland race track. She will be under the direction of jockey John Velasquez in Arlington Park race track this Saturday.
The third lady in Todd Pletcher's trio is Featherbed who is coming fresh from a second-place finish in the Fit for a Queen Stakes. She was fourth in the Shirley Jones Handicap on March 29 at Gulfstream Park race track.
